Sami Zayn loves taking fans on a ride.
In recent months, Sami Zayn has been involved with Chad Gable and Alpha Academy. Gable helped train Zayn heading into WWE WrestleMania XL, where he beat Gunther to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Gable subsequently turned on Zayn, and he has continued to chase the title. Gable will challenge Zayn for the gold at WWE Clash at the Castle. Ahead of the show, Zayn has tried appealing to Otis, who has teased turning on Gable, though he has remained loyal so far.
Speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Sami Zayn discussed his storyline with Chad Gable.
"That’s my favorite thing in the whole world; getting people hooked on a ride like this and not knowing what’s next and wanting to see how a story is going to unfold. It’s the most addictive and amazing thing. I’ve been wrestling for a long time, but I love it so much and I love this aspect of it that you don’t get to do, even in WWE, you’re lucky to get to do a good storyline that has people on the edge of their seat with what is going to happen next and when it’s going to happen. I’m sure something consequential is going to happen this Saturday. It feels like it’s at a boiling point. What it is? We’ll have to watch and see," Zayn said.
