Swerve Strickland comments on winning 'Best Individual Promo' in the 2023 Fightful Awards.
Strickland's back and forth promo with 'Hangman' Adam Page won the award for 'Best Individual Promo' in the 2023 Fightful Awards over other promos such as Cody Rhodes telling Sami Zayn to finish his story, CM Punk's Collision return promo, and Seth Rollins' promo on CM Punk from December 11.
During the 2023 Fightful Awards Show, which aired on January 31, Swerve Strickland stopped by and thanked fans for allowing him to pick up his first ever Fightful award.
“Fightful awards, i want to thank yall for awarding me, Swerve Strickland, leader of the Mogul Embassy and AEW superstar, best individual promo of the year. This is my first, very first Fightful award that I’ve ever received in my career, it took fifteen years to get this and I didn’t think it would be for individual promo but here we are. Let’s see what 2024 holds for your boy. Who’s house? Swerve’s house.”
This category was brand new to the Fightful awards in 2023.
