Fandango will be sidelined for a bit as he has undergone Tommy John surgery on his left arm.
The NXT superstar confirmed the surgery in an Instagram post. He also joked that his dreams of being an MLB pitcher are over. Tommy John surgery is a common surgery undergone by pitchers.
Fandango was listed on the Dec. 12 NXT injury report, which is a blend of kayfabe and reality. The report stated that Fandango suffered a possibly dislocated elbow performing an elbow from the apron to the outside. He was sent to the ER for imaging a there was no further update. Fandango suffered the injury on the Dec. 11 episode of NXT, teaming with Tyler Breeze in a victory over The Singh Brothers.
There is no timetable for Fandango's return.
Fandango previously suffered a left labrum tear in his shoulder in July 2018.
