- Hiromu Takahashi was exhausted after his match against Ryusuke Taguchi and praised Taguchi for inspiring him to victory.

- El Desperado had his finger broken by Marty Scurll during the Bullet Club versus Suzuki-Gun tag team match on Day 7.

- Chris Sabin handed Dragon Lee his first loss in the BOSJ tournament and in the following video he explains he studied tape and focused on Dragon Lee in order to pull out the victory.

- Will Ospreay was praised by the NJPW President and CEO Naoki Sugabayashi and Ospreay tweeted about the encouragement that made him feel. 

- Bushi defeated Will Ospreay on Day 7 in a tournament match by spraying Ospreay in the eyes with a mist.

- Tiger Mask was also undefeated in the tournament until he faced Flip Gordon on Day 7. In an post-match interview, Tiger Mask said he underestimated Gordon but also said Gordon's movement threw him off. Flip Gordon also speaks about winning three matches in a row.
