This week on Ring Warriors: Jeff Cobb to defend the Grand Championship against Luke Hawx; Austin Aries introduces his “friend” and handpicked challenger for the title; plus a special attraction match from NWA70

On this Saturday’s episode of Ring Warriors (8 a.m. Eastern and Pacific, 7 a.m. Central on WGN America), “The Southern Stomper” Luke Hawx, fresh off a hard fought victory over “The Undeniable Kavorka” Eli Drake, is slated to go one-on-one with Ring Warriors Grand Champion Jeff Cobb.

In addition to the scheduled championship match, minority owner Austin Aries brings a “friend” to Ring Warriors, who he claims will be the next Grand Champion.

“The Business” Alexander Hammerstone is back from a nasty knee injury and will be put to the test as he faces a well-seasoned veteran in “The VIP” Cassidy Riley, one half of the Hotshots.

The ladies are also back in action as Allison Danger’s duo of Nicole Savoy and Desi Derata (collectively known as Danger Incorporated) square off with the very popular tandem of Melissa Anderson and Santana Garrett.

The duo of Tito Escondidio and Che Cabrera return to do battle with Reverend Nelson’s Prophecy (The Dark Child and The Demigod of Death).

Stepping in this week for color analyst Larry Brannon, who is still recovering from minor surgery, is Glenn Gilbertti of the Slambinos. Gilbertti joins play-by-play commentator Blake Chadwick.

And in a special bonus match for the fans, Ring Warriors, together with the National Wrestling Alliance, presents a special attraction match from NWA 70, as Samuel Shaw takes on Willie Mack to crown a new NWA National Heavyweight Champion. Championship Wrestling from Hollywood’s Joe Galli and legendary manager Jim Cornette call the action.

If you can’t watch Ring Warriors live, be sure to set your DVR for Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. Eastern and Pacific (7 a.m. Central) on WGN America.
