It's been a while since we've done an edition of Fighting Words.
Social media is a slippery slope. Sometimes the war of words is meant to start out as a work, ands up as a shoot, and blurs the line all throughout. That's the beauty of pro wrestling. WWE has been using minor social media squabbles to promote women's matches on Smackdown for quite a while now, and two Smackdown stars followed that formula, even though there's no scheduled match as of now.

It's hard to see what the endgame is here, as this one got oddly personal. Zelina doesn't wrestle that much -- only once on TV in the last several months, and both are heels.
I guess you could call both Lacey Evans and Alundra Blaze both heels, if you can call the latter anything right now. The former Madusa appeared in a heel role on WWE Raw last week, threatening to trash the WWE 24/7 Title. Prior, Madusa had went as far as to bring up Lacey's husband, which resulted in Lacey flat out saying she was willing to risk her WWE gig to beat Madusa's ass.

The 55-year old Madusa hasn't competed in a one on one match since way back in 2000, but has made sporadic appearances that included the Evolution battle royal. Considering Lacey is a former marine, I would imagine the more ....seasoned Madusa would be in for a long day.
