Finn Balor Talks The Importance Of NXT, His Future

Many thought Finn Balor would make an impression upon his Raw debut. Few thought what actually happened, would.

Balor has quite the start on Raw, winning a fatal four way match, pinning United States Champion Rusev, before upsetting Roman Reigns in the main event of the show. Balor took to Twitter to express his appreciation towards NXT for helping him to prepare for the spot.

"To have been a part of the team that helped NXT become what it is now is without question my proudest accomplishment. Raw on Monday was the result of 16 years of hard work, preparation & a lot of help from a LOT of people I've been fortunate to learn from," said Balor.

In the string of posts, Balor said that he's open to working another decade and a half to get where he wants to be. Balor also specified that he'd be on the NXT live events in Texas

"Trust me, I am under no illusion that the hard work is done," said Balor. "Monday was one night, This Is Just The Beginning, and if it takes another 16 years to get where I want to be, at the very top, that is what I am willing to give. I am all in. As for now, back to work!"

Balor is set to face Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Summerslam on August 21 from Brooklyn, New York.
