Tanahashi, Marufuji, Akiyama And More Announced For "Wrestling All-Star Battle" In Japan

More details emerge for Pro-Wrestling All-Star Battle at Sumo Hall.

Tokyo Sports announced the following names for the All-Star event, which takes place on February 19, 2019.

New Japan Pro Wrestling ? Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tomoaki Honma, Taichi & Yoshinobu Kanemaru
All Japan Pro Wrestling ? Kento Miyahara, Jun Akiyama, Takao Omori & Masanobu Fuchi
Big Japan Wrestling ? The Great Kojika & Daisuke Sekimoto
Pro Wrestling NOAH ?  Naomichi Marufuji
Freelance ?  Taiyo Kea, Tomohiko Hashimoto & Kazushi Miyamoto

Abdullah the Butcher and Stan Hansen are also scheduled to appear in a non-wrestling capacity.

Pro-Wrestling All-Star Battle is a joint show between all the major companies in Japan. It is being held in honor of the 20th anniversary of Giant Baba?s passing and the 60th anniversary of Tokyo Sports' founding. Broadcast plans for the event are currently unknown. It was previously reported that the show would not air on New Japan World. It was also reported that NJPW vs. NOAH bouts were not expected to take place at the event due to tensions between the two companies dating back to 2016 when NOAH was sold.
