The 2017 Royal Rumble field is getting a little more crowded.
On the January 2 edition of Monday Night Raw saw four more names enter the 30-man Royal Rumble match, as record-holding tag team New Day all officially announced they'll be participating in the match. Former Undisputed WWE Champion Chris Jericho has also been added, as well as Braun Strowman.
Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston will comprise ten percent of the Rumble field, and none have had particularly impressive performances. Woods has never been in a Rumble, Big E has never eliminated any contestants, and Kofi Kingston is usually there for his highlight reel spots.
Thus far the only other two announced names for the Rumble are Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.
Royal Rumble takes place January 29 from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage and discussion of the event and will have several reporters live on scene.
