We've often heard stories about how Mayweather legitimately broke Big Show's nose at No Way Out 2008, and how upset Big Show was after, but in the new series "WWE Film Room" Show told Michael Cole that Mayweather's grandmother was angry over a chop he delivered to the boxer at WrestleMania 24.
"His grandmother was really upset with me for that chop on Floyd. She was severely upset. She basically gave me a chewing like I was a six-year-old that was trampling her flower garden for slapping her grand baby. I didn't do anything but (say) 'yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am..' It was Floyd who calmed her down and said, 'It was in the battle. It was okay.' Then she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Mayweather would go on to win the match by using brass knuckles to knock out the former WWE, WCW and ECW Champion. Mayweather has stated in interviews that while his father despised pro wrestling, he would watch it with his grandmother as a child.
