Former NWA, AWA Wrestler Kat LeRoux Passes Away

Kat LeRoux, who wrestled for a number of territories in the 1980s and 1990s, has died. 

Brittany Brown announced LeRoux's death on social media with PWinsider also confirming the report. The cause of her death has yet to be revealed, but according to PWInsider, she was dealing with health issues related to her liver.

LeRoux has wrestled all over the United States, including the NWA and AWA. She and Misty Blue Simmes wrestled in the Great American Bash 1987 tour for the NWA United States Women's Championship. LeRoux also competed at the AWA WrestleRock 1986 event in a battle royal that also featured Simmes, Luna Vachon and Sherri Martel, who won the match.

LeRoux would also work at Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, Trans World Wrestling Federation and even WCW until she stopped wrestling in the 1990s.
