Sousa broke into the business thanks to Bruno Sammartino in the 1970s and was mainly used as a WWWF enhancement talent. He regularly appeared on WWWF Championship Wrestling and WWWF All-Star Wrestling.

Along with working in WWWF, Sousa toured All Japan Pro Wresting for their 1976 Summer Action Series, where he teamed with Gerald Brisco. He also competed in Stu Hart's Stampede Wrestling, Vancouver All-Star Wrestling and Mid-South Wrestling.

His last match of record took place on WWF Superstars in 1987, where he lost to One Man Gang.

On behalf of Fightful, we would like to extend our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Sousa.
