Tonight on Smackdown Live, two new championship matches were announced for next week's episode.
Alexa Bliss will defend her Women's Title against Becky Lynch. Bliss has been working a fake injury angle, and Daniel Bryan called her out on it as he made the title match for next week.
Meanwhile, Zack Ryder's knee injury has forced the brass to rethink their Tag Team Title plans. The Hype Bros became #1 Contenders last week when Ryder won the Battle Royal for his team, but as he is unable to compete, they announced that there will be a Four Corners Tag Title Match next week. It will be Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton vs American Alpha vs The Usos vs former champions Heath Slater and Rhyno.
These two matches join the already planned WWE Championship match of AJ Styles defending in a triple threat match against Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin, who was added to the match at the end of tonight's show.
John Cena also makes his return next week.
The December 27 episode of Smackdown Live just became must see TV.
