Glover Teixeira Dominates Anthony Smith At UFC Jacksonville

UFC was back for their second effort of the week, and capped it off with a big battle between former title challengers.

40-year old Glover Teixeira derailed Anthony Smith. With both men looking to get back in the title hunt, Teixeira uncorked a sustained beating on Smith, with many thinking the fight went on far too long. Finally, in the fifth round, Teixeira won when referee Jason Herzog stopped the fight.

At one point, Anthony Smith even told his corner that his teeth were falling out.

Teixeira continues his hot streak, winning four fights in a row, and five of his last six fights.

The other ranked fighters on the show were few and far between. Drew Dober took out #15 lightweight Alexander Hernandez via second round TKO, and #15 women's bantamweight Sijara Eubanks outlasted the unranked Sarah Moras in a unanimous decision.
