Brian Lawler ended up in jail again this year.
So far, it has not been a positive 2018 for Brian Lawler (formerly known as "Grandmaster Sexay" Brian Christopher). In March, he was hospitalized after he got into an intoxicated fight with a fellow professional wrestler at a Fairfield Inn in Indiana. On June 5th, he was arrested after he and another wrestler were unable to pay their bill at a Memphis, Tennessee hotel.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported Lawler was arrested again on July 7th for DUI and allegedly running from law enforcement. He was reportedly pulled over at 1 AM, he attempted to finish his drive home, and had an open beer can with him.
The former WWE Tag Team Champion has not been seen on WWE television since his 2014 NXT appearance when he and his Too Cool tag team partner Scotty 2 Hotty were in a NXT Tag Team Championship match against The Ascension. Lawler has continued to wrestler on a very limited schedule in recent years.
