Great Khali Reflects On Being Cast For The Longest Yard

Great Khali spoke about The Longest Yard.

The 2005 film The Longest Yard included a cast of Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, The Great Khali, Bob Sapp, Terry Crews, Nelly, Goldberg, Tracy Morgan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kevin Nash, Michael Irvin, and many others.

While appearing on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Khali spoke about being cast for the movie.

“I work in Japan, so they are casting the movie. He needs a big guy for the big guys. Goldberg, Stone Cold, Kevin Nash… So he finds me and says, ‘Hey, come over, I want to check how you are.’ So I just come, he says, ‘This is the perfect guy. So speaking English doesn’t matter. You are my guy, you are my man!’ Then he selected me.”

Khali also confirmed that he’s retired from in-ring competition.
