Great-O-Khan: We Felt AEW Is Full Of Indie Wrestlers, MJF Understands True 'Pro Wrestling'

Great-O-Khan weighs in on AEW.

Great-O-Khan was part of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, entering the show as one half of the IWGP Tag Team Champions alongside Jeff Cobb. Cobb & Great-O-Khan would lose the titles to FTR (Cash Harwood & Dax Wheeler) in a three-way tag team match that also included Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta).

Speaking to Wrestle Inn, Great-O-Khan gave his thoughts on AEW.

"We felt that AEW is full of Indy wrestlers. There are plenty of formidable wrestlers there, but they are unrefined and ill-educated. A shame," he said.

Despite his overall thoughts on AEW, he did find praise for MJF.

"We care not for pro-wrestling, so we haven’t seen or heard of MJF. Yet clearly he is one of a precious few who truly understand the meaning of true “professional wrestling”, and we think he must be one of the very best in the world," he said.

MJF previously revealed that he is a fan of Great-O-Khan.

Great-O-Khan is currently competing on the Burning Spirit Tour in NJPW while MJF returned to AEW at AEW All Out, winning the Casino Ladder Match.
