Greatest Royal Rumble Event To Feature Seven Championship Matches

The Greatest Royal Rumble will be more than just one big match.

Earlier this month, WWE announced a 50-man Royal Rumble to take place in Saudi Arabia on April 27th. At the time, Vince McMahon said the event showed the commitment of WWE towards the growing global audience. Today, WWE announced the same card will also feature at least seven championship matches including the WWE, Universal, Intercontinental, Cruiserweight, and both main roster Tag Team Championships.

The following is the press release from WWE.com.

Tickets will be available Saturday, March 31, and this historic event will feature seven championship matches, including the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship and Cruiserweight Championship.

In addition to the seven championship matches, the event will also include the first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match.
