Grizzled Young Veterans, Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne Advance To Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals is set with Undisputed Era suffering a shocking upset loss.

Kicking off the January 22 episode of NXT, Grizzled Young Veterans of NXT UK defeated the current NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) in the tournament semifinals. Grizzled Young Veterans was able to score the victory after O'Reilly and Fish were distracted by the arrival of all four members from Imperium.

Undisputed Era and Imperium are due to face off in an eight-man tag team match at the Worlds Collide show on January 25. Fightful will have live coverage of the event, taking place in Houston.

As for the other team in the tournament finals, the duo of Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne, which was formed right before the Dusty Classic even began, punched their tickets to the finals. They defeated Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel of Imperium.

With the finalists all set, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals will take place on the January 29 edition of NXT. Also announced for next Wednesday's episode is Tegan Nox taking on Dakota Kai in a grudge match.
