Guerrero Maya Jr. Wins 2025 CMLL Rey del Inframundo Tourney

Guerrero Maya Jr. outlasted Difunto, Adrenalina & Villano III Jr. to win the 2025 Rey del Inframundo Tournament at Arena Mexico.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre hosted the 10/31/2025 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular. It aired live on YouTube from Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. As part of the event, they hosted the Finals of the Rey del Inframundo (King of the Underworld) Tournament. Difunto defended the title against Guerrero Maya Jr., Villano III Jr. & Adrenalina.

After a dynamic match, Maya ended up walking out with the victory after hitting the Quebradora Maya on Difunto. This is his first tournament win in CMLL since winning the Forjando Un Idolo tourney back in 2011. He is also the current CMLL National Middleweight Champion, holding the belt for 883 days.

Unfortunately, Adrenalina was stretchered out shortly after being eliminated by Villano III Jr. from the bout. Fightful will have updates as more information happens.
