- Chris Bey kicked off IMPACT with a victory over Rohit Raju. Backstage he was approached by Jay White with an offer to join Bullet Club. Switchblade says they are always looking for guys who will fit in and who have the potential to be something. Bey said that he already is something and walks alone. White asked how that has worked out for him lately. He told Bey to reconsider but warned that the offer will expire.

- Mickie James came to the ring to apologize to Deonna Purrazzo for kicking her at Slammiversary. She proceeded to invite The Virtuosa, once again, to NWA EmPowerrr on August 28th. Tensions between the two rose, but after Gail Kim came out and smoothed things over, Purrazzo accepted the offer.

- A returning Taylor Wilde neutralized Kaleb (with a K) on the outside, allowing Chelsea Green to hit an Un-Prettier on Sam Beale to earn her team (Matt Cardona & Jake Something) the victory over Beale, Brian Myers, and Tenille Dashwood.

- At IMPACT Slammiversary, W. Morrissey defeated Eddie Edwards with the help of a steel chain. Tonight, Eddie was looking for revenge and decided to take things outside. Morrissey met him in the parking lot and they brawled near the production trucks. Morrissey had the upper hand early, but Eddie forced Morrissey to retreat after he started wielding a pair of kendo sticks.

- Jay White came to the ring and explained that he was at Slammiversary to confront David Finlay. They will face off at NJPW Resurgence on August 14. He then took shots at Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers. The Elite members came out and said that Jay White needs to be more thankful to them for making Bullet Club as popular as it is. Gallows and Anderson proceeded to attack White, but Chris Bey came to his defence. A tag team match between the four men was announced later in the night.

- Kenny Omega walked through Josh Alexander's interview and insulted him and his status as X Division Champion.

- FinJuice were victorious in their return to IMPACT Wrestling but were beat down by Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Shera, and Rohit Raju after the bell.

- Violent By Design attacked Willie Mack and Rich Swann backstage after they shared their aspirations to be Tag Team Champions. Mack and Swann will face Rhino and Deaner in a match next week.

- Scott D'Amore announced that Moose and Chris Sabin will headline the July 29 episode of IMPACT Wrestling. The two recently faced off at Slammiversary. Sabin picked up the win on that night.

- Havok and Rosemary defeated Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan to retain the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.
