In a video update on Twitter, Slater announced that he would be undergoing surgery for a multitude of injuries on Monday, March 1, 2021. Heath stated that one of the reasons it took so long to officially confirm surgery is the time it took to find a doctor who would be willing to take care of everything at once.

Heath stated that he has a sports hernia on the left side of his pubic bone, another hernia on the right side, he has a rip on both sides of his abdomen wall, and his abductor muscle completely off the bone.

Fightful wishes Heath Slater a speedy recovery and will continue to report any and all updates on his condition.
