In April of this year, United Empire would make an appearance in All Elite Wrestling, taking part in Chaos in Canada, as the faction would unite with Will Ospreay with to take on the Death Riders in a multi man match.

While speaking to NJPW in a new interview on July 4th, Henare would reflect on the appearance the faction made in All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, noting that the faction’s stock went up around the world as a result.

“The reception when we did that was insane. It raised our stock here in Japan, as well as around the world, certainly in the US and even at home for me in New Zealand as well I had more people recognising me on the street. So it was a nice reminder that we are that good and all we needed was the proof, and now we have the proof.”

In a previous interview, Henare spoke about a knee injury that he suffered in 2024, detailing how the injury came about and the severity of it. You can read more about that here.
