Hijo del Tirantes left El Ojo on the 9/7 edition of AAA Alianzas from the Showcenter Complex in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
AAA hosted a new set of tapings on 9/7 from the Showcenter Complex in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Hijo del Tirantes served as the referee for two matches involving his faction mates, Mecha Wolf & El Mesías.
After not favoring his faction-mates in their matches, unlike in other AAA Tapings, both lost their matches.
In a vignette posted on AAA’s social media, it was revealed that the long-time rudo referee had departed the faction. He told Dorian Roldan he could no longer do it before leaving.
Whether this is an actual departure or if it’s another swerve from El Ojo is yet to be known.
