Diamante earned herself a non-title match next Wednesday.
Following her victory over Ivelisse on Wednesday's Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that Diamante will face AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida in a non-title bout on the July 29 edition of AEW Dynamite. Shida is seemingly a champion without a challenger right now, saying she would be open to face anyone in an effort to defend her title and stay active. Diamante has done enough to impress with back-to-back victories on Dark and Dynamite.
