Hook out-wrestled Fuego, tossed him around, stretched him out, and beat him up. Fuego tried to hit his trademark tornado DDT, but Hook prevented it with his power, added a capture suplex for good measure, and then choked out Fuego with the Kata-Ha-Jime (Tazmission).

After the bout, Tony Khan officially announced that Hook had signed with AEW.
