How Was Smackdown Viewership After WWE TLC?

Smackdown's viewership dropped after Sunday's WWE TLC show.

Tuesday's episode of Smackdown drew an estimated 2.479 million viewers off the heels of WWE TLC. This is down from the 2.505 million the go-home show attracted, per ShowBuzz Daily. Raw managed 2.976 million viewers this week, also down from last week's 3.110 million.

Smackdown landed at #8 for the night in cable viewership behind Curse of Oak Island, Fixer Upper, The O'Reilly Factor, Tucker Carlson, Special Report, The Kelly File and The Five. SmackDown did land #2 in the 18-49 demographic, however, behind only Curse of Oak Island.

The show was originally set to feature AJ Styles defending the WWE Championship against James Ellsworth, which had to be changed due to an ankle injury from Styles. Instead, the show closed with an Intercontinental title match pitting champion The Miz against Dean Ambrose.
