Kurt Angle has been telling independent promoters that he will not be accepting any dates this spring because he's returning to WWE, maybe even in time for Wrestlemania 33 on April 2nd.
Angle is scheduled to face the former Alberto Del Rio (now Alberto El Patron) for the first time on February 12th in the UK for WCPW. He will then face Cody Rhodes for a third time, but has told promoters he's not accepting indie dates beyond then.
This is all according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which is quick to point out that this wouldn't be the first time Angle has told independent promotions that he's returning to WWE. And the Wrestlemania rumor mill always heats up around this time of year--this isn't even the only Angle to WWE rumor that's being spread right now--so this report should not be treated as fact, just a little fun speculation to get us through to the Rumble.
