Humberto Carrillo talks about the one interaction he had with Vince McMahon lately.
During an interview with Super Luchas, the former 205 Live star and current Raw roster member talked about a short conversation he had with McMahon. That one little chat with McMahon was encouraging for Carrillo as McMahon gave him plenty of compliments on his work thus far.
"On one occasion, when I was on 205 Live, I had the opportunity to talk to him. He congratulated me for my work, he told me I'm doing things very well and that I shouldn't get desperate. He told me that he likes the way I work and is content with the results. Those comments, coming from him, were very encouraging," Carrillo said.
Since his run on 205 Live ended when he was drafted to Raw, Carrillo entered a weeks-long feud with AJ Styles for the United States Championship and the two will have a title match on the November 25 edition of Raw.
Carrillo started his WWE career in NXT, but quickly ascending to Raw is something he can't believe.
"I can't even explain! To tell the truth, I don't believe. In one year, I've been able to position myself in a quick manner. For me, it's something incredible and special since I was little. I know many dream of this and now I have that opportunity," Carrillo said.
