Ilja Dragunov has faced a number of wrestlers who have wrestled or are wrestling on Raw and SmackDown and has another name in mind.
During an interview with talkSPORT, Dragunov was asked who would be his WWE European dream match and Dragunov responded with Aleister Black, who is Dutch. Dragunov added that he believes that would be a matchup people would love to see happen someday.
“There’s a lot of names. I think when it comes down to European names, guys like Aleister Black, who I knew before his time in WWE. I think we would connect very well and that’s a fight people would want to see, maybe,” Dragunov said.
As far as guys on the NXT UK roster, Dragunov says his sights, like many on the roster, are on current NXT UK Champion WALTER. In regards to WALTER, Dragunov views that as a match with a big fight feel and something that needs to happen.
“I think every person here on this brand is looking forward to facing the biggest star on the brand, which is obviously the champion. I have great history with WALTER and I love those big fight feels. Like, the matches that feel like fights and wars, everything that is raised out of brutality and passion. At some certain point of time, it needs to happen,” Dragunov said.
Dragunov currently wrestles on the NXT UK brand, which airs every Thursday on the WWE Network
