IMPACT Wrestling will decide a new Number One Contender for Josh Alexander's X-Division Championship.
Fresh off of a successful defense against Black Taurus, Josh Alexander is now in need of a new Challenger, and that challenger will be determined on the August 5 edition of IMPACT Wrestling as Jake Something, Trey Miguel, Rohit Raju, and Daivari battle it out to determine who is next in line.

Daivari was recently hired back as a WWE producer but was working with IMPACT and Major League Wrestling as a wrestler during his layoff from the company during the early days of the pandemic.
