EVOLVE Announces Opponents For LAX At EVOLVE 117 And 118

Santana and Ortiz are coming home.

The current IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Santana and Ortiz have been reigning over IMPACT's tag team division since April of this year when they defeated Andrew Everett and DJ Z to capture the titles. LAX recently put a nearly five-month rivalry with The OGz to bed and next in line to get a shot at their IMPACT Tag Titles are Pentagon Jr. and Fenix and that bout will occur at IMPACT Wrestling's 'Homecoming' pay-per-view on January 6th in Nashville, Tennessee.

The next two months will be eventful for Santana and Ortiz as they are set to make their U.K. PROGRESS Wrestling debuts at Chapter 81 in Manchester on December 8th, and one week after that on the 16th LAX returns home to Queens, New York to make their EVOLVE debuts on December 15th.

On Tuesday, EVOLVE announced that LAX will face The Street Profits and AR Fox & Leon Ruff in a triple threat tag team bout for the EVOLVE Tag Team Titles at EVOLVE 117. The next night at EVOLVE 118, LAX will team with Austin Theory to battle Darby Allin & The Street Profits in six-man tag action.

EVOLVE has underwent changes over the past two months as the promotion hit a restart button of sorts. Their top championship and tag team titles are being held by NXT talents Fabian Aichner and The Street Profits and at EVOLVE 115 and 116 earlier this month, 205 Live star Mustafa Ali and NXT's Kassius Ohno was on the road with the promotion as well.
