Ethan Page has arrived in Impact Wrestling.
Well, not him, specifically. But Joseph Park has introduced a new relative of his to the pro wrestling scene, Chandler Park. He is believed to be the brother of Abyss' alter ego, Joseph Park (though that isn't confirmed just yet), and faced off against an enhancement talent on tonight's tapings:
Ethan Page had been wrestling for EVOLVE for a while, but he announced a few months ago that he was no longer working for the promotion after he and ACH dropped the EVOLVE tag team titles to the Doom Patrol. Being that he is Canadian, this was probably another step in Impact becoming a Canadian-based promotion, with Petey Williams making his return to the promotion along with the hiring of several other Canadian talent.
Impact has been taping for the last week, taking them through the new year with new episodes on Pop TV. Yesterday's tapings had a new Knockouts champion crowned, as well as a continuation of the feud between Eli Drake, Johnny Mundo and Alberto El Patron, which culminated in a six sides of steel cage match.
