Internal Expectation That Zilla Fatu Will Be On WWE Main Roster Before Long
Zilla Fatu could be on his way to the main roster.
It was on August 11th that Zilla Fatu made his WWE debut and joined the NXT brand. His in-ring debut is set for the Heatwave Premium Live Event on 8/30 where he’ll be in a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Championship.
WrestleVotes on Fightful Select learned that it is expected internally that Fatu will be on the WWE main roster before long.
“It’s expected internally that Zilla Fatu will be on the WWE main roster before long, @WrestleVotes Radio on @FightfulSelect has learned.
Those within the company believe that pairing him with his cousins this early in his WWE run could set the stage for the long term.
We are also told that his WWE Raw vignette was not only to advertise Heatwave, but it also served as a soft introduction of Zilla for those WWE audience members who may not be familiar with him.”
