The first round of independent events for this year's WrestleMania week in Tampa, Florida has been announced.
Last year, WrestleMania week was not the spectacle that week has grown to be known as. The emergence of a global pandemic forced all outside events to be canceled and forced WrestleMania itself to take place from an empty WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Typically, not only does WWE run that week but multiple independent shows run as well and it is the biggest week in wrestling for not only WWE Superstars, but for outside Superstars to garner exposure and attempt to take their career to the next level.
This year, IWTV will be presenting a series of events for the first time as they have announced on Twitter that they will be hosting “The Showcase of the Independents” From Thursday, April 8th through Saturday, April 10th in Tampa, Florida.
This series of events will feature shows from Synergy Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, NoPeace Underground, and more.

As of this writing, no further events are known but both The Collective and WrestleCon are scheduled to make announcements this week regarding their plans for Tampa in April.
