Jacy Jayne: I Feel Like Chase U Helped Me Find Myself

Jacy Jayne reflects on her time with Chase U.

Jayne had a small stint with the group that lasted from late 2023 to early 2024. After splitting from the group and feuding with Thea Hail, Jayne went on to win the TNA Knockouts World Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship on two separate occasions.

Speaking with Cameron Hawkins of Uncrowned, Jayne said that her time with the group motivated her in a key way.

“Getting to play off of that many people at one time and the stories that we were telling, I thought it was so much fun and I kind of had to test myself a little bit, because I always was the evil, mean girl. So trying to be like the supportive friend was a little different for me. … and honestly, I really feel like Chase U helped motivate me and help me find myself as just me, Jacy Jayne, and not me as a tag-team wrestler.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Jayne talked about a big difference between independent wrestlers and collegiate athletes. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
