- While they wait for NJPW events to resume, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kota Ibushi passed the team of Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano in combined days as IWGP Heavyweight Champions and the current champions are tied with Michiyoshi Ohara & Tatsutoshi Goto for 44th most in history.
- On a related note, Hiromu Takahashi passed Ibushi in combined days as IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and is now ninth all-time in that category.
