Jay Lethal Is Happy To See TNA Wrestling Back, Wants The Six-Sided Ring To Return

Jay Lethal comments on the return to TNA Wrestling.

Jay Lethal had one of the most memorable moments in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling history when he got into a "Wooo off" with Ric Flair. Lethal spent over five years in TNA and perfected his Randy Savage tribute act as Black Machismo in the company.

During a Highspot Virtual Signing, Lethal was asked about IMPACT bringing back the TNA name.

"I was happy they did that. You have no idea, I was happy. The next thing that needs to happen though is...the ring. That six-sided ring made them. It's for the fans. It's for them," he said.

When asked for his thoughts on the ring, Lethal said, "I didn't mind it. It was a bit funky to get used to."

When it's noted that the wrestlers didn't like the ring, Lethal said, "I know the wrestlers may (not) prefer it, but if that's the identity and the fans voted. They should put a vote to the fans."

Scott D'Amore has said that they won't bring back the six-sided ring due to safety concerns. You can find his full comments by clicking here.

Lethal is currently signed to AEW and competing in the AEW Continental Classic.
