JC Mateo Departs WWE

JC Mateo is leaving WWE.
Fightful has confirmed that JC Mateo has departed WWE.
He last wrestled on the April 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, teaming with Tama Tonga in a loss to Damian Priest & R-Truth. He was part of the MFTs.
“Mateo is among a new group of WWE departures, Fightful Select and Cory Hays from Bodyslam have learned.”
Mateo signed with WWE in 2025, making his debut at WWE Backlash, aligning with Solo Sikoa. Before joining WWE, he wrestled as Jeff Cobb in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he was part of the United Empire.
Mateo has been moved to the alumni section of the WWE website.
