Xavier Woods Departs WWE

Xavier Woods is leaving WWE.

Fightful has confirmed that Xavier Woods has departed WWE.

Woods last wrestled in a dark match at the Royal Rumble. His last televised match was on the January 26 episode of WWE Raw. He had been sidelined with an injury, and his return date was unknown. He was part of New Day alongside Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller.

Fightful Select and Cory Hays from Bodyslam have learned that New Day members Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston are leaving WWE. Fightful Select was told they mutually decided to part ways.

Woods has been moved to the alumni section on the WWE site.

Woods signed with WWE in 2010. Along with his on-screen appearances, he worked on the digital side with UpUpDownDown, WWE’s gaming channel.

Woods is a former ten-time Tag Team Champion and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
