Jeff Hardy Wants A Match With "Demon King" Finn Balor And Wants To Use The "Willow" Character In WWE Before He Retires

"The Charismatic Enigma".

Former two-time World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy has been reflecting on his career a lot in interviews this year. "The Charismatic Enigma" has been discussing matches that he wants to do before he retires and also revealed some of the wrestlers he'd like to step into the ring with before he hangs it up. One of Jeff's notes on his bucket list will be checked off tomorrow at the 'Hell In A Cell' PPV when he goes one-on-one with "The Viper" Randy Orton inside Hell In A Cell.

Jeff spoke about more of those "last things" he wants to do when he spoke with Brian Campbell of CBS Sports. During the conversation the topic of former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor's "Demon King" body and face paint came up and Jeff praised Finn for his unique look when Finn transforms into the "Demon King" character. Jeff then added that he had a conversation with Finn while they where filming a Table For 3 episode and he told him that before they both decide to retire, "The Charismatic Enigma" versus "The Demon King" needs to happen.

“Oh I loved it man [Finn Balor's body paint]. I thought it was crazy especially with his entrance music is so rocking man and cool, and I still have this image in my head - we did a Table For 3 a while back and I said, ‘Okay, before I’m done, before you’re done, its gonna happen. The Enigma versus The Demon. All painted up. I’ll go all upper too you know. It’d be such a cool moment for the fans and for the WWE Universe.” Jeff said.

On top of having a few dream matches left to check off in WWE, Jeff also wants to bring some of his past characters to the land of sports-entertainment as well including the "Willow" character that he made famous during his time in TNA.

“Yeah Willow is… he is the God of my imagination." Hardy said. "The property we live on - like my little five acres of land or whatever and my motocross track, Willow’s the God there in some mad way in my mind he runs the place, and it was very… Marylin Manson had a lot of influence on Willow." Hardy continued, "Let me do some kind of dark, black character with a mask so a lot came from Manson but I still see that happening in WWE before I’m done but I gotta break out the black wedding dress with the mask and just go all out. Those Willow promos were so fun to do, and I look forward to doing those again."

One thing that Jeff Hardy will not be doing when he steps away from the ring is transitioning to a backstage role. Jeff stated during a recent interview that he can not see himself as a backstage producer or an agent once he ties the bow on his wrestling career.
