Jim Ross Expects A Seth Rollins Victory Over Triple H At WrestleMania

Jim Ross not only believes Seth Rollins vs Triple H is happening at WrestleMania 33, he willing to make a prediction on a winner.

Rollins' status for Wrestlemania 33 is still unknown. He was injured by Samoa Joe at the instruction of Triple H, Rollins had been calling out Triple H out to the ring for weeks when he was attacked by Samoa Joe. On Monday, Rollins came to the ring to defend Mick Foley, the interaction with Triple H left Rollins on the mat with a broken crutch. In his blog, Ross gave the segment high marks.

"The close of the show was memorable and well done by all involved. The villains, HHH and Stephanie, were spot on and Foley showed everyone how a babyface sells with their facial expressions especially the eyes and body English. Brilliantly done piece of business," wrote Ross.

Rollins has said he will not be cleared by doctors on time for Wrestlemania, but on Monday he dropped the crutch on the way to the ring seemingly less injured than presumed. Ross said he expects Rollins to be at Wrestlemania 33 in a match with Triple H.

"It felt like the fans accepted Seth Rollins as the protagonist that he is being positioned to be in WWE as Rollins' courage and SELLING appealed to the fans in Detroit. No, the suicidal, career threatening dives didn't do it but, instead, it was crowd psychology and the fundamental application of the genre's most viable dramatic weapon, selling and convincing one's audience come along for the journey. For those wondering, I fully expect Rollins vs HHH at WM Orlando where Rollins needs a career defining victory vs a future HOFER on the biggest stage of them all," wrote Ross.

There have been some rumors that the segment is being used to write Seth out of WrestleMania, fearing that his knee won't be cleared in time. On the contrary, says Ross, Rollins being in that segment on Monday proves that he will be at Wrestlemania 33 .

In the rest of his blog, Ross also discussed Paul Heyman's appearance on Raw and the breaking up of Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke.
