Jim Ross Thinks His Rib Was Broken At NJPW G1 Special; Fall Was Not Planned

Being on commentary came with physical consequences for Jim Ross. 

At the NJPW G1 Special at Saturday, Jim Ross was involved in the action during the IWGP United States Championship match between Jay White and Juice Robinson. White threw Robinson into a number of guardrails including the one in front of Josh Barnett and Jim Ross' AXS TV commentary booth.

The guardrail slammed into the table which sent the 66-year-old Ross backwards in his chair and falling on the floor. The incident can be seen in the tweet below including Barnett's reaction. 

When Ross rose, he asked for his hat and said he was "fine" but on Monday morning he tweeted that he had some problems while traveling.

John Pollock of Post Wrestling is reporting that Ross went to the emergency room on Monday.
