Jinder Mahal On His Heel Persona, Someday Becoming A Babyface

Jinder Mahal is one of the top heels in WWE right now. But someday, he'll like to make that transition into a babyface.

Mahal spoke to ESPN recently about his heel persona, comparing pro wrestling to other entertainment mediums:

The WWE is like any other sport. But I consider it to be an art form. I consider myself an artist. I can play a character but I consider myself a world class athlete. That's the beauty of the WWE, it brings the best of both worlds. It brings the athletics of a sport form and mixes with it ideas from Hollywood or Bollywood. I am interested in seeing what other characters I could play.

He continued, saying that he wonders what other characters he could portray, including being a babyface:

I am interested in seeing what other characters I could play. The evolution of a WWE character is such that things change and I can't wait to have a babyface character. I can't wait for the crowd reaction when I come [to New Delhi] and definitely the WWE will see some of that reaction. Maybe that starts to plug something in creative and you might see a different side of me.

Jinder Mahal has been a heel throughout most of his career, save for brief moments as a babyface as a member of 3MB with Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater.
