Jinder is hindered.
Jinder Mahal took to Instagram to reveal that he suffered a ruptured patella tendon in a June 15 bout against Ali and recently underwent successful surgery for his injury. There is no timetable for Jinder's return.
Jinder has been involved in the 24/7 Title chase since the introduction of the belt, defeating R-Truth on two separate occasions -- once on a golf course and once on a tarmac -- to win the strap. However, both reigns were short-lived as R-Truth would gain the title back moments after losing.
Fightful will provide an update on Mahal when more information is known. In better news for Mahal, the former WWE Champion recently signed a new five-year deal with the company.
