Joe Alonzo Feels Some Type Of Way After Kiera Hogan/Avery Styles Signings Overshadowed Him At TNA Lockdown
Joe Alonzo had his spotlight stolen at TNA Lockdown.
The company made a bunch of headlines at the pay-per-view, which featured the debut of Avery Styles and the return of Kiera Hogan. Additionally, Joe Alonzo earned a contract with TNA after defeating Home Town Man before the show went on the air.
Speaking with The Sportster for a new interview, Alonzo said that he feels some type of way after Styles and Hogan’s singings got more attention than his.
“Set up the damn chairs, kid. You know what, I can’t hate. Listen, in 20 years for now if I have Joe Alonzo III — because I’m gonna be one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever. When I have my kid and if they want to wrestle, which hopefully they don’t, they wanna do something else besides this stupid ass thing we do. Hopefully by the time that happens, my kid’s not going to be setting up no fucking chairs at some bum ass indie show. Good for Avery, I’m glad he is getting an opportunity. Whether or not those wrestling genes he got those or not, we’re gonna find out because it’s going to be sink or swim for him. I’m not even going to hate. It sucks that our announcements were the same night of getting signed and his outweighed mine. I do feel a type of way about that, but that puts me in my element because I feel like I have to prove to people like, how dare you snooze on me because I feel like people were talking about Kiera Hogan and Avery Styles more than they were talking about Joe Alonzo. As time goes on, they’re gonna forget about Kiera and Avery, they’re going to remember the most dope professional wrestler that this generation has ever seen.”
