Joe Gacy Confirms First Post-WWE Match

Joe Gacy (Joseph Sawyer) is set to make his in-ring return at Wrestling REVOLVER.

REVOLVER announced that Joe Gacy will compete at Silence of the Slams on July 24. No opponent was announced.

This will be Gacy’s first match since he was released by WWE on April 24.

Gacy wrote on social media, “My first appearance is finally announced. See me in Nashville.”

Sami Callihan noted that this would be the first time the Original Switchblades of himself, Gacy, and Jon Moxley will be in the building together in 15 years.

Gacy hasn’t wrestled since the April 17 episode of SmackDown when he teamed with Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, & Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) as the Wyatt Sicks. All members of the Wyatt Sicks, including Nikki Cross were released one week later.
