Joe Hendry To Defend TNA World Title Against Trick Williams At NXT Battleground

Trick Williams and Joe Hendry will settle their differences at NXT Battleground.

On the May 6th episode of WWE NXT, NXT general manager Ava announced that Joe Hendry will defend his TNA World Heavyweight Title against Trick Williams at NXT Battleground on May 25th.

The two men have been going back and forth for weeks, including Trick laying out Hendry at TNA Rebellion and TNA iMPACT! Live this past Thursday. Hendry got a measure of revenge on Tuesday's NXT, costing Trick a shot at the NXT Championship in the 25-man battle royal by distracting him and causing him to be eliminated.
