Christopher Meloni Says John Cena Helped Him Speak Mandarin For A Scene In ‘Little Brother’
John Cena was a big help to Christopher Meloni on the set of ‘Little Brother’.
Cena, Meloni, Eric Andre, and Michelle Monaghan all star in the new comedy film that will hit Netflix on Friday, June 26. As a part of the film’s press tour, Meloni stopped by Good Morning America this week for a chat with Michael Strahan.
During the interview, the ‘Law & Order’ actor revealed that John Cena helped him speak Mandarin for a scene.
“He is so funny and I love his rhythms. We actually had a scene where I had to speak Mandarin. I was having trouble with the lines and John started all of the sudden out of nowhere became my tutor. He speaks Mandarin. I said, ‘How did that happen?’ He said that when he was on the WWE, they were trying to make it an international organization so they sent out a variety of wrestlers to countries to learn how the speak the native [language].”
Meloni went on to say that Cena took a six month crash course to learn the language.
