Jonathan Gresham Says 2021 Match With Alex Coughlin In His Favorite Match Of His Career

Jonathan Gresham names his favorite match.

During a recent chat with Fightful, ‘The Octopus’ talked about his favorite match of his career, which is a 2021 match with the now-retired Alex Coughlin.

“The one match I’m very proud of, I hate that he’s no longer wrestling with us, but I wrestled him a couple of times. The match I particularly like the most is with Alex Coughlin from New Japan Strong. We worked with each other at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia. I don’t know what episode it is, but I remember the match only had one bump in it and we worked a headlock the entire match. It’s my favorite match I’ve ever had really because it’s exactly what I feel wrestling should be or wrestling can be. Yeah, it was awesome. I really liked that match and the fans were about it. They liked it. I think we were like mid-show. So they had already seen like a bunch of like cool shit, and this was nothing but pro graps. So they were really behind it and I really enjoyed performing for them.”
